Board & Train

If you find yourself thinking "this has got to change" about your dog's behavior, but you don't have the time in your busy schedule for the intensive training required, or you are at your wit's end as to how to create change in the behavior, you should consider CityCanine's Board and Train. We'll devote the 24/7 attention needed to put your companion on the right track!

CityCanine's Board and Train program is unlike many other's:...the most frequent question we get on the program is "will my dog respond for me, when he's been trained by you?"...the answer is "yes!" - because we treat your whole "pack," not just the dog! We include two private lessons: one occurs the day you pick your dog up. In this lesson, we take you on a training walk and ensure that the dog will do everything for you that he will do for us. The second lesson - to take place within the next 20 days - is a follow-up to make sure everything's off on the right step now that the dog is home. Finally, as an added safety net, you have a four-week training course available to you (these courses are scheduled seasonally, four per year) over the next year, Free, as part of the Board and Train package.

Here's what's included:

All the Basics - (2 week program package - great for housebreaking issues, includes 2 hours free follow-up private lessons and free entrance to any Basic Obedience class!) - $700 for dogs eight months or younger, $800 for dogs older than eight months* or dogs greater than 65 pounds* (total cost, includes boarding)- payable half in the beginning, half at pick-up.

*Giant Breeds Excluded...will be evaluated and priced at drop-off.

Boarding - for existing training clients of CityCanine, we board at $30 per day.

Our Hours: We generally operate by scheduled appointments, available between the hours of 12 Noon and 6:30 p.m. We are closed on Tuesdays! Messages of a non-emergency nature (either voice-mail, text, or e-mail) will be returned Wednesday morning.
