CityCanine offers classes for all dogs and their owners in all types of situations: Level I Obedience: Dogs (14 weeks and older) are taught the commands that create happy living with humans. Owners are taught how to use, maintain, and reinforce behaviors that include leash-walking, sit/stay, come when called, down/stay, off, and others. In addition, we cover: controlling playbiting and chewing, socializing with people and animals, and greeting people without jumping up. This is a seven -week class that will meet the same day of the week for seven weeks in a row. Each session is one hour long.
If You're Wondering What Course Your Dog Should Take, Ask Yourself the Following Questions:Do you feel that your dog knows what the word "sit" means, even though your dog may or may not do it consistently or without nagging? Do you feel that your dog knows what "lay down" means, even though your dog may or may not do it consistently or without nagging? Do you feel that your dog knows what the word "stay" means, even though your dog may or may not do it consistently or without nagging? Do you feel that your dog knows what the word "come" means, even though your dog may or may not do it consistently or without nagging? Will your dog walk on a leash, even if it involves some pulling? Is your goal to achieve the AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification?
