Basic Obedience Class - Beginning Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 10 a.m....this class will meet for 1 hour every Saturday, for 8 weeks...culminating in the Canine Good Citizen certification by the AKC..this roster is open and filling...there will be no same-day enrollments...call 832-860-3520 for info...

Intermediate Obedience Class - Beginning Wednesday, September 15th, at 7 p.m....this class will meet for 1 hour every Wednesday. The goal of this class is to move toward true off-leash behaviors and performance with distractions. Also, this class is designed to challenge you - to further your understanding of training techniques and methods! This roster is opend and filling...there will be no same-day enrollments! CityCanine offers classes for all dogs and their owners in all types of situations:

Basic Obedience: Dogs (12 weeks and older) are taught the commands that create happy living with humans. Owners are taught how to use, maintain, and reinforce commands that include sit/stay, come when called, down, leave it, off, and others. In addition, we cover: controlling playbiting and chewing, socializing with people and animals, and greeting people without jumping up. The graduation exam consists of the AKC Canine Good Citizen test (at no extra charge).

Advanced Obedience: Dogs that have completed Basic Obedience are taught advanced skills like heeling, off-leash heeling, long-term downs, and beginning obedience trial skills. This is very helpful for dogs that know many commands but may not always do those commands.

Rally: The newest AKC obedience sport! Turns obedience training into an adventure...come on out to our rally course and join the fun!

Fee Schedule: $150 per class (includes training equipment)
